Detailed Description+

Tests knowledge of English in the areas of reading comprehension, vocabulary and grammar.
This is an economical, multi-dimensional, adaptive test of English language skills. These skills are of ever-greater importance in our society. This test is therefore used in personnel selection and development in the fields of staff & management assessments, educational counseling (job & career placement) and academic testing.

Task+

The respondent works the tasks in multiple-choice format. Different subtests require the respondent to name synonyms, fill in the gaps in a text or answer questions about a particular text. Answers can be corrected, repeatedly if necessary, within the given time limit.

Scoring+

The following main variables are scored:

  • Reading comprehension
  • Grammar
  • Vocabulary

A CEFR classification is also given. The Common European Frame of Reference (CEFR) enables the results to be compared internationally. Competence levels are assessed on a scale ranging from A1 (elementary language usage) to C2 (almost native language fluency).
