Detailed Description+

Assesses the ability to concentrate.
This special ability test (Pauli Test) makes it possible to measure how a respondent’s accuracy and speed vary over time. The Work Performance Series is therefore used in recruitment (manufacturing & safety assessments). In clinical neuropsychology it is used to determine the extent of fatigue when under mental strain.

Test forms+

S1: Pauli Test (addition only)
S2: Pauli Test (addition) with demands on short-term memory
S7: Luxembourg form (addition and subtraction)

Task+

The respondent adds or subtracts two numbers placed one above the other and is required to work as many items as possible in the given time. In items that involve short-term memory, entering an answer causes the lower number to move up and be concealed in the following item. The respondent must therefore remember the lower number before entering an answer, in order to use it in solving the next item. The last answer entered can be corrected.
