Assesses learning and remembering of face/name associations.Learning face/name associations and recalling newly learned or familiar names is of key importance in social interaction and crucial in private life, in education and at work. Poor performance or actual disorders in this area are often experienced as particularly stressful. The test was developed for assessment in clinical neuropsychology but it can also be used to rate the performance of healthy individuals, for example in the context of personnel selection and development.

The faces and names of ten people are presented to the respondent both acoustically and visually in up to five learning runs. After each learning run the respondent is asked to recall the name that goes with each face (“cued recall”).Medium-term memory is tested 30 minutes after the learning runs.
