Detailed Description+

Measures traffic-relevant attitudes and personality traits which may affect the behavior as a pedestrian, bicyclist, moped rider, motorcyclist, or driver. Thanks to the adapted test form, the KEKS is also suitable for testing the traffic maturity of adolescents.
For this reason, the KEKS is used for traffic psychological examinations, but it is also used in the area of personnel psychology for safety-relevant professions.

Test forms+

S1: Standard form for adolescents.
S2: Standard form for adults.

Task+

The respondent must assess on a four-point answer scale to what extent traffic-relevant statements apply to him/her.

  • Social conformity & behavior of others: Measures the ability to adhere to rules and norms of social behavior.
  • Reliability: Measures the ability to act reliably and responsibly towards others.
  • Emotional stability & control: Measures the ability to remain calm and reflective in difficult or stressful situations.
