Detailed Description+

Adaptive assessment of lexical knowledge and respondent’s self-estimate of their ability.
General ability tests are good predictors of success in work or training. The assessment of crystallized intelligence is therefore central to the creation of cognitive ability profiles in the context of queries in the field of personnel psychology.

Task+

Each item requires respondents to state whether they are familiar with a particular word. By selecting an answer from a set of options the respondent then fills in the gaps in a text to provide a meaningful definition of the word.
