Detailed Description+

Assesses both two-dimensional visuomotor coordination between eye and hand and coordination between the left and right hand.
The ability to coordinate eye and hand when making fine, small-scale movements is important in everyday life, when driving and in sport. Converting visual information into hand movements is also an important aspect of performance in many industrial jobs. 2HAND therefore has a wide range of uses: the test is suitable for use in personnel selection and development in the context of manufacturing & safety assessments, for issues in clinical neuropsychology, and for use in investigations in the fields of traffic psychology and sports psychology.

Test forms+

S1: Long form, administration with joysticks
S2: Short form, administration with joysticks
S3: Short form, administration with control knobs
S4: Long form, administration with control knobs
S5: Long form, administration with joysticks – opposite direction of movement
S6: Long form, administration with one joystick

Task+

The task is to make a red dot move along a given track using either two control knobs or two joysticks, depending on the test form. The track consists of three sections that make different demands on the coordination of the left and right hand.
